As in all educational institutions, the teaching of each subject in higher education has its own peculiarities. The scope of the problem, the main directions and the nature of the topics of general and special sciences determine the specifics. These features should be taken into account in the use of technological means, including information and communication technologies (ICT), as in any teaching tool. After all, only then the expected didactic goal is achieved. The article analyzes the application of ICT, taking into account the specifics of the teaching of history.
